If you have existing opt-in subscriber data when you join Sign-Up.to, you’ll need to import it into your account.

In the Collect section of your account click the ‘Add list’ button. Name the list and then click the ‘OK’ button. If you already have a subscriber list set up there’s no need to set up a new list.

Next click subscribers, and a small window will appear so here click ‘import subscribers’.

On the next page you can choose your data file and choose which kind of import you’re doing. We give you three different options – adding, adding and updating, and adding, updating and deleting (existing data).

You’ll also need to accept our terms and conditions on this page. We only allow 100% permission based data to be imported. Once selected click the ‘Upload’ button.

Once the import begins you’ll see a message telling you your .CSV file has been submitted. On this page you have the option to return to Collect or import more subscribers into your list.

If you see a page asking you to review your column headers this is because our system has had difficulty recognising your data.  You’ll see two columns, the headers you’ve used against our supported headers, and here you can select the correct header to use. If you can’t find a suitable header you can also add a new one to the right of the page. At the very bottom of the page you’ll see a preview of your import.

When your import has completed you’ll receive an email detailing how many records were imported and which were rejected. Only unique subscribers will be added to your list.

If you want to add subscribers to an existing list click subscribers and a box will appear and here you can select ‘import subscribers’ to import further data. If you want to just import one or two email addresses select ‘add subscribers’.
