Email marketing:
1 – Upload your contact data
If you have an existing database of contacts that have opted-in to receive information from you then you can import these contacts into your Sign-Up.to account.
Firstly you need to create a new list within the Collect section so that you can upload your data. You must ensure that your data has been saved as a CSV file before the import process.
2 – Create a data capture form
If you don’t have any existing data to import or you would like to gain more subscribers then you can create a data capture form for your website, Facebook page or WordPress blog. This will allow your new subscribers details to be fed directly into your Sign-Up.to account to the list you specify.
3 – Create your email campaign
Creating email marketing campaigns couldn’t be easier! This is all done in the Create section of your account. If you want to design your campaign within Sign-Up.to you can either design your campaign in the blank window or you can select a template to base your design on. Your account comes with a selection of free templates to choose from or if you would like a custom design then please contact us. Alternatively, if you have already designed your email you can upload your own HTML.
Once you have created a great looking email campaign ensure that you set a plain text version. Sending as a multi-part email will make sure that your campaign reaches as many subscribers as possible and improve its deliverability.
4 – Preview your email
Make sure you preview your campaign before you send it. This gives you the opportunity to make sure it looks exactly how it should in your email inbox as all email clients display HTML emails slightly differently.
5 – Select the subscribers you want to target
In the Send section you can select whether you send your campaign to one list, all your contacts or even just a selection of your lists. This gives you the flexibility to send your message to a precisely targeted group.
6 – Send your campaign
Schedule your campaign and choose the date and time for delivery.
7 – Share your campaign
Spread your message further and integrate your campaign with Twitter. By using our ‘Twitter it’ function you’ll be able to analyse your Twitter stats within your Share section and see how many more views your campaign receives.
